Cimarron is a classic wooden yawl built in 1969. The name Cimarron comes from a river in the southwest United States. It is associated with wild horses, and also with runaway slaves—all symbols of an independent and adventurous spirit.
About the Captain
Captain Rick Smith grew up on the water. He was raised in Portland, Maine. He has 35 years of experience sailing vessels of all types.

The US Virgin Islands includes some of the finest Caribbean sailing and beaches in the world. On our trips, you are likely to see dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and stingrays. It is a snorkeler's paradise, with coral reefs teeming with tropical fish.
About Mid-Coast Maine
Anchored in Camden, one of the prettiest towns on the coast of Maine, the Cimarron is also available for charters in the Penobscot Bay during summers.
The Charter Yacht Cimarron is a classic yacht available for day, overnight, or term charters. She departs daily from Cruz Bay, St John, US Virgin Islands.
